MEET GEORGE LAMB
George Lamb is a radio and television presenter.
As a radio presenter, George was awarded a Sony DAB Rising Star award in 2008 with his BBC 6 Music show where he presented a live music roundup, with new and classic tracks. He has also fronted some of Britain's most loved shows from Big Brother's Little Brother, Celebrity Scissor Hands to being involved with the first live episode of EastEnders when he interviewed the cast and production team on EastEnders Live: The Aftermath.
In 2010, George's BBC 3 documentary Can I Get High Legally? saw George investigating the world of legal party pills and herbal highs and setting out to discover why they are legal and whether this means they can be classed as safe. George met people who take them, a man who sells them and a doctor who says they are potentially more dangerous than class A drugs. In 2012, George Lamb was involved in a first for both the Royal Ballet and Royal Opera House, with Royal Ballet LIVE. This was a full day of live broadcasting from Covent Garden via YouTube in conjunction with The Guardian this featured exclusive glimpses of morning class, rehearsals and interviews.
Alongside his radio and television work George has co-founded a line of menswear with his friend and designer, Adrian Sauvage, and has built a brand new generation of radio platform called Radio Wolfgang. He can also be heard on his Don't Call It a Comeback podcast. 2015 has also seen the launch of Football Tonight on BT Sport.
See you at the party on Sunday 5 June!
